SODAD in Reserve, New Mexico is celebrating Valentine’s Day weekend with Hearts and Arts, an art walk through our South Of Downtown Art District.

Take a stroll through Reserve and visit the venues displaying creations from our local artists. We have a lot of talent in the community and we’re taking this day to celebrate.

Tawnya’s Trading Post, Options Unlimited, Studio Verde, and Gary’s Rock Shop will be featuring local artists and artisans and their work. Located on Main Street south of the courthouse, these four venues offer a variety of creations, each location specializing in something different from the others.

Don’t live in Catron County? How about a weekend getaway in the mountains? Reserve boasts three restaurants where you can celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special meal. Check out the Adobe Cafe, Carmen’s, and Ella’s to decide where you would like to dine and make a reservation. If chocolate is your thing, The Adobe Does BBQ cafe has in-house made truffles, fudge and turtles.

Reserve has many B & B’s nearby if you want a secluded, romantic getaway, and we also have two motels in town, Frisco Lodging and The Hidden Springs Inn.

If you really want to get away from it all, we have Apache RV Park, Elkhorn Lodging, and several Forest Service camp grounds like The Cosmic Campground, Apache Creek Campground, and Pueblo Park Campground. The Cosmic Campground is designed specifically for stargazers with pads for setting up telescopes.
