Fate of the Catron County Senior Centers
This video is an excerpt from the Catron County Commissioner’s Open Meeting of July 11, 2019 focused only on the discussion of the future of the Catron County Senior Centers.
The Glenwood Community is following up on the suggestions made by the Commissioners and the STATE OF NEW MEXICO as well as Non-Metro AAA agents that The People gather to discuss possible solutions to the dire straights our Senior Centers are now in.
The First of Two Planned Meeting Dates will be this Friday, 19 July at the Glenwood Community Center at 6PM. The purpose of the meeting is to weigh the possible solutions and to decide what the People of Glenwood want to propose to the Catron County Board of Commissioners as the best solution for the People of Glenwood. The Commission will convene a special meeting before the end of the month to finalize the County Budget and to decide the fate of the Catron County Senior Centers.
We plan for a second meeting at the Glenwood Community Center early next week to finalize and vote on the plan we intend to present to the Catron County Board of Commissioners during their Special Meeting at the end of the month. The second date has not yet been set.
