Glenwood Yoga Retreat

Glenwood Yoga was founded in 2002 by Cordelia Rose who teaches three or more classes a week.   In order to expand students’ knowledge and bring out of town students to Glenwood guest teachers have been invited to teach one-day yoga workshops at the Glenwood Community Center on Menges Lane.
The success of the one-day workshops has led to weekend retreats for students with established yoga practices.   The weekend retreats are organized by Glenwood Yoga and Sol Center of Tucson, founded by Natasha Korshak, and are held at the Los Olmos Lodge in the center of Glenwood.  Natasha, with many years of yoga and meditation practice and teaching,  designs the weekend’s program and teaches the yoga and meditation classes.  Cordelia manages the retreats and introduces students to the meditative practice of labyrinth walking at her six labyrinths and a maze at Whitewater Mesa Labyrinths on Bursum Road north of Glenwood.

The Los Olmos Lodge is the perfect place to hold a yoga retreat.  The cabins are quiet and comfortable and in a lovely setting

of trees, fish ponds, wide lawns, and views of the mountains.  The Great Lodge has a beautiful red oak floor on which to lay 30 yoga mats and is a spacious, light and airy room in which to practice yoga.  Owners Kerry Ruth and Carla Schmeider succeed in making local and the many out of town students extremely welcome whether they are from round the corner or as far afield as Florida and Idaho.   In catering to every need Kerry cooks delicious meals for a multitude of food requirements from omnivores, vegans and vegetarians.

The next retreat is 22-24 March 2019.   For information call or text Cordelia Rose  575 313-1002
